Statistical Reporting Analyst

Function :   Compiles, reviews, and reports on transactions in relation to the General Ledger.  This position is responsible for coordinating with Insurance Services Office (ISO) and the various state Departments of Insurance (DOI).

 

Duties: 
Review system transactions, compare and tie into the General Ledger
Create statistical reports for management and the finance department
Coordinates reporting of affiliated and unaffiliated data with ISO
Work directly with AS400 programmers
Understand systems and communicate with managers regarding necessary changes
Communicate with DOI regarding reports and contents as questions from the DOI arise
Other duties as may be assigned

 

Qualifications: 
Bachelor?s Degree
Financial reporting experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
Good organizational and time management skills a must
Tact, diplomacy and patience
Proficiency with Excel and Access
Non-standard auto insurance industry experience a plus
