Strategic Planning Analyst for Chase Auto Finance

The Strategic planning analyst is responsible for identifying and executing new strategies and improving existing strategies in Collections. Knowledge of Remarketing, Collections/Recoveries, Bankruptcy and Auto Finance is strongly preferred. Strategies will be developed and implemented utilizing Champion/Challenger (test and control) methodology.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to the following:
-Identify Collection strategies, develop and implement utilizing test/control methodology.
-Develop strategies or process changes which will mitigate losses.
-Track strategy success rate and perform financial benefit achieved from strategies.
-Work closely with Business Leaders from multiple sites to develop strategies, act as a liaison to the business leaders to create consistent strategies throughout the regions.
-Understand industry delinquency trends and delinquency forecasting
-Work with statistical modelers to build collection related scores
-Gain buy in and approval from business regarding strategic initiatives
-Work with IT to design business requirements for strategic initiatives
-Utilize datamart and autodialer statistics to pull data for strategy designs
General Experience
-Auto Finance industry background a plus
-Collections experience required
-Solid analytical skills, ability to interpret statistical model results
-Ability to develop financial benefit forecasts from strategic initiatives
-Ability to articulate strategic initiatives and results to all levels of the organization
-Microsoft Office products specifically Excel and Access required
-SAS, SQL and/or Chaid a plus
-Desire to learn basic programming a must
-Six Sigma Experience a plus
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to develop creative implementation solutions to meet deadlines
Education
-Undergraduate degree in Business, Mathematics, or Statistics
-Master's degree in Business, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
