Title: Tax Manager #59730
Location: San Rafael, CA

General Summary: Manage the preparation of the U.S. Federal return, state tax returns, and estimated tax payments. Assist with the preparation of the annual and quarterly tax provisions in accordance with FAS 109. Assist with other domestic tax projects such as IRS and state tax audits, R&D credit documentation, and other special projects. Opportunity for broad experience and growth in both the international and domestic tax areas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, as well as quarterly estimated tax payments Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with FAS 109, including assistance with tax provision software Assist with federal and state income tax audits Tax research Assist with monitoring of foreign income tax compliance, as needed Other special projects as they arise (R & D tax credit, FAS 123R, etc.)

Job Specifications: BA/BS in accounting, finance, or business administration 7 - 10 years professional experience in a corporate tax department and/or a Big 4 accounting firm CPA desired but not required Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of computers (Excel, Word, tax software) Working knowledge of FAS 109 software a plus Great attitude and eagerness to learn
