Position Summary:
A developmental position to support the function of Freight Derivatives Trading while building on specific skills and experience in trading. Close interaction with the brokering community.
Requirements:
Contact AdministrationLiaising with counter parties to establish master trading agreements.
Monitoring Systems and day-to-day reportingUpdate, monitor, and run reports on pricing, physical exposure, P&L, etc. Identify potential trends and issues Monitor trading positions for Hedge and Proprietary trading activity
AnalysisCreate and modify reports outlining forecasts, exposures, estimating option volatility, and basic relationships Track market fundamentals and economics and economics Rate projections and forward maturity curves
Qualifications:
MBA Preferred
Strong analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
Excel and database expertise
Maritime industry experience preferred
