Underwriting Manager-ABL(below $20k)

High challenging underwriting manager role within the Dallas region of CIT/CMS' ABL Growth Team (under $20 million). The candidate is initially responsible for marketing support and credit evaluation of new business transactions, including overall business/industry review, collateral analysis, financial review and analysis, management evaluations and capital structure issues. As business grows, the candiate will also be responsible for hiring qualified staff. This position provides coordination and effective communication of the underwriting and closing process in order to meet customer and internal expectations. In addition, responsibilities include preparation and presentation of concisely written credit write-ups including transaction risks and mitigation, collateral analysis, historical and forecasted financial analysis and other key transaction issues.



Qualifications include previous management experience, with over five plus years of asset-based lending experience and a minimum of three years of underwriting experience. Proven credit skills with ability to identify key transaction risks and potential mitigation associated with asset-based transactions, including collateral evaluation and capital structure issues. Strong financial analysis skills are required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to build client relationships as well as work in a team environment. College degree required in Finance or Accounting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
