Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Job Purpose: Ensure compliance to Universal Studios Home Entertainment, ("USHE") credit & collection, accounts receivable, billing, and cash application policies & procedures in order to maximize profitability, sales, and cash flow.

Job Summary:
Supports A/R Analyst in the maintenance of the A/R Analyst's portfolio of accounts.
Performs initial research and review of customer claims to determine validity.
Preparation of claim documentation for internal department review (Customer Service, Materials Management, Tradespend, etc.)
Maintain status of claims being reviewed by other USHE departments and expected timeline for completion.
Upon approval or rejection of a customer's claim, prepare appropriate credit memorandum and route for approval, or prepare repay letter for the signature of either the A/R Analyst or the Credit Manager.
Assist A/R Analyst with the collection of past due invoices, research and review of short-shipments, mis-shipments, and concealed shortages. Pull Proof of Deliveries (POD's) for questionable short-pays.
Perform initial review and matching of returned product deductions and credits. Create offset spreadsheets for upload into SAP, and explanation of residual differences between the deductions and related credits.

Working knowledge of Windows-based office applications (i.e. Word, Excel) based on at least three years of use in an office environment
At least three years of claims/reconciliations experience in the credit/accounts receivable field.

SAP experience a plus.
