Associate Program Manager -  Finance - Business Analysis

This position will support Citigroup's Retail Cards business and will be located in our Elk Grove Village, IL facility. 

 

The individual who fills this position will be responsible for financial processes around the analysis, planning, reporting, and decision-making for numerous Retail portfolios.

 

Specific responsibilities include: Manage profitabilityof assigned portfoliosAnalyze portfolio risks and opportunities and recommend actions Identify and implement key initiatives to improve program profitability  Partner with Client Development, Marketing, Risk Management, and Operations to develop and implement portfolio growth initiativesCreate insightful, actionable analyses to explain significant portfolio variances and trendsUtilize financial tools and modeling to assist in the creation of innovative client programsDevelop portfolio driver forecasts 



Specifications / Qualifications

Required:4 year BA/BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field, Master's degree a plus5+ years finance/business experienceStrong  leadership skillsDemonstrated analytical skills - can synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw logical conclusionsTechnical skills - track record of successful, relevant financial management positionsProject management - able to manage multiple objectives/activities successfully within necessary deadlinesInitiative- ability to create structure and find opportunities for improvementChange agent - can influence others in a matrixed environmentCritical thinking skills - sees opportunity and asks the right questionsCredit Cards experience a plus!Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
