The San Francisco valuation practice services leading companies in the high technology and life sciences industries throughout the Northern Pacific region with emphasis on the valuation of securities and intellectual property for financial reporting purposes.? We are seeking individuals at the?Cost Segregation Manager or Senior Manager?level to lead our Tangible Asset Advisory Services ?practice in San Francisco. ?Candidates will have between?5 - 10 years of technical?Cost Segregation?experience with a depth of exposure and comfort with the taxation guidelines and cases associated with defensible cost segregation projects.? Ideal candidates will have an aptitude and passion for leading professionals and building growing practices across the spectrum of our Tangible Asset Advisory Service product and service offerings.

The successful candidate
will assist business owners who are developing or acquiring tangible assets?through construction or acquisition efforts to minimize total project costs and maximize the recovery of capital investments through the integration of valuation, engineering, program management, and tax planning services.? Responsibilities will include analyzing construction plans, specifications, and cost data for the purpose of classifying property under the federal income tax Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery System.
Manager or Senior Manager Requirements
?
??5 - 10 years experience in construction management, cost estimating, cost segregation studies, machinery & equipment valuation, personal property andor real estate valuation, and/or fixed asset management
?? Experience determining the fair value of tangible andor real property for financial reporting and/or tax purposes
? Experience estimating replacement cost, new and actual cash value of tangible property for insurance purposes
? Demonstrated
ability to structure and perform financial consulting projects, manage client expectations and relationships, and participate in client presentations
?? Experience andor aptitude to lead and build a practice
?? Demonstrated ability to develop and retain client relationships
? Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
? Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
? Experience in a professional services, corporate facilities management, or constructionengineering firm preferred
? BS in Engineering required; graduate degrees a plus
