We are currently seeking a VP, Finance who will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for managing a variety of functions as part of the corporate finance team.  Areas of responsibility may include strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, capital markets, investor relations, investment underwriting and acquisition analysis, in addition to managing the execution of various debt and equity financing transactions.

 Qualifications

 

? Proven leadership, management and organizational skills with a track record of results

 

? Strong oral and written communication skills

 

? Significant financial modeling experience required

 

? Minimum of 5 (five) years in strong, progressive finance positions with corporate finance and/or real estate finance required

 

? A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required; MBA, CFA, or CPA strongly preferred

 

? Investment banking and/or prior REIT experience a plus

 

? References required

 

 

Specific Duties

 

? Assist the Senior Management team in strategic planning, including periodic assessment  and the preparation and delivery of presentations regarding all aspects of the company?s financial position and performance

 

? Develop, design, oversee implementation, and manage the company?s internal budgeting and forecasting process, including detailed property-level budgeting and forecasting, as well as corporate/entity-level budgeting and forecasting

 

? Supervise financial analysts in all aspects of financial underwriting for potential property and portfolio investments, including stabilized acquisitions, re-leasing, redevelopment and development opportunities, as well as tenant credit analysis

 

? Assist in managing treasury and cash management activities

 

? Assist in all aspects of investor relations

 

? Establish and maintain contacts with investors, lenders, investment banks and various other financial institutions

 

? Assist in the review, evaluation, negotiation and execution of various capital markets transactions including debt and equity financing activities

 

? Prepare or manage the preparation of all other financial reports, analyses and documents as designated by the CFO
