We are currently looking for high energy, aggressive, self-motivated, experienced Senior Marketplace Mortgage Loan Originators who love what they do and truly care about their customers. 


As a Fifth Third Senior Marketplace Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be:


 


* Working with assigned branch office(s) to ensure awareness of mortgage loan products and policies.


* Handling referrals from each branch office and provide appropriate follow-up and feedback.


* Developing referral contacts such as realtors, builders and professional and personal contacts.  (Some leads are provided by the branch.)

* Maintaining knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company's policies and procedures.


* Maintaining knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting and general departmental guidelines.


* Following defined protocol for escalation exceptions.


* Taking applicant applications by completing Fannie Mae form 1003 on the laptop.


* Utilizing the laptop for communication and access of daily rates, applicant credit reports, Loan Prospector responses and transmitting the loan to UNIFI.


* Collecting appropriate documentation from each applicant and deliver loan package in the time frames set by management.


* Managing pipeline for all originated loans through closing and complete required management reports.


* Communicating with branches and/or applicants by providing timely updates and progress reports.


* Maintaining high levels of customer service while managing each applicant's and support staff's expectations.


* Attending and participating in all Consumer Lending meetings as required.
