AVP - Agency Intranet Communications

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Develop a comprehensive vision for Agency Portal, building consensus among key stakeholders as to the site?s mission, structure, navigation, ?look and feel?, and voice.Work with key stakeholders to implement this vision, creating a consistent and audience-centric user experience.Manage creative team of writers and web developers.Recommend and oversee transition of selected print materials to the electronic medium.Conduct regular meetings to address key issues, facilitate decisions, and ensure effective communication among key stakeholders.Develop new processes for improved teamwork; provide coaching to direct reports and co-workers on the effective use of Portal and content management.

 

Requirements for Position: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent business experienceSignificant (5-10 years) experience in web design and content creationExperience in managing the launch of a new web site or a significant redesign of an existing siteProficiency with HTML, banner ad creation software, and other web-related technologiesIn-depth understanding of Internet best practices regarding content and designAbility to adjust to varying situations within tight deadlines and lead people and activities across multiple functional areas.  Very strong interpersonal skills.
