Brief Description:


Provide financial management & reporting to the Participant Plan Services call center department located in Hopewell NJ, preparation of annual budget and monthly forecasts, review monthly expense and provide variance analysis, preparation and review of journal entries and accruals, ensure proper financial controls, development and updating of client profitability, unit cost and productivity models based upon key business drivers, product expense allocation and headcount staffing models.Job Responsibilities:


Consolidate, evaluate, and present the financial results for PCB&RS on a monthly basis. Act as lead analyst and interface with Division Finance/Sector Finance on key financial planning deliverables. Work closely with Group Controller on initiative planning, acquisition analysis and presentations to Senior Management. Provide financial analysis and support to Risk & Credit Control, Banking Initiatives and Six Sigma Groups within PCB&RS. Specific responsibilities include the following:



? Financial Reporting:

1. Manage the consolidation of and analyze the monthly financial results for PCB&RS, including P&L & Direct Charge analysis/variance explanations

2. Manage the consolidation and review process for monthly expense estimates and FY forecast adjustments, including estimate to actual analysis and reconciliation of FY Forecast

3. Coordinate and analyze the Exit Rate analysis process for PCB&RS

4. Prepare monthly balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations

5. Preparation and review of monthly volume and metrics reports for unit costing/chargeback model

6. Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of monthly headcount reporting

7. Interact and liaise with Consumer Banking Solutions on monthly/quarterly reporting, including preparation of monthly and quarterly reports

8. Responsible for financial planning and analysis of R&CC, Banking Initiatives and Six Sigma



? Budgeting:

1. Coordinate and consolidate the P&L budgets across PCB&RS, acting as liaison with Division Finance on all deliverables

2. Provide financial analysis and support at the department level for Administration and Six Sigma in the development and maintenance of annual budgets

3. Assist departments with the development of budgeted unit costing rates for chargeback model

4. Interact and liaise with Consumer Banking on annual planning process

5. Responsible for financial planning and analysis of R&CC, Banking Initiatives and Six Sigma



? Financial Analysis

1. Assist the Department Controllers and Department Managers in the preparation and delivery of quarterly business reviews for the Group Manager

2. Assist Department Controllers with the development and maintenance of full functional cost modelsQualifications:


Accounting/Finance degree with a minimum of 4 years of public accounting or 6+ years of management reporting experience

? Ability to interact with senior management independently

? Strong analytical skills/complex problem solving skills; detailed oriented

? Strong computer technical skills (Excel, Access; Oracle Financials and Hyperion Management Reporting a plus)

? Possesses a positive attitude and strong work ethic ? task oriented

? Ability to multi-task and be flexible with work schedule ? work extended hours when required

? Ability to work independently

? Strong organizational and communication skills.
