AVP ? Global Selects Product Development

Department Description:


The team is primarily responsible for the maintenance and development of Merrill Lynch Global Selects, a flagship managed product of GPC for international investors, and is represented in Geneva, London and Princeton.  Merrill Lynch Global Selects is an umbrella mutual fund structure that currently has 47 active portfolios across a range of asset classes and over $3.2 billion in assets.Job Responsibilities:


Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the introduction of key product enhancements and initiatives such as the launch of new portfolios, share classes, product features, etc.

- Liaise with the custodian, administrator, other vendors and internal ML entities (Jacksonville, Operations, etc.) to resolve operational issues and ensure the smooth operation of the platform.

- Liaise with Relationship Management to ensure that all Investment Managers are meeting their obligations to the MLGS platform.

- Liaise with Distribution colleagues to ensure problem resolution and ongoing support to the Financial Advisors.

- Assist with the maintenance of all required documentation including the prospectus, simplified prospectus, annual report, etc.

- Support the product governance bodies, including the MLGS Board of Directors, Global Selects Management and Investment Committee, Pricing Committee, etc.

 Qualifications:


Skills/Qualifications

- University graduate
- three to five years of managed product or financial service experience required
- Able to work independently and multi-task on multiple projects to deadlines
- Comfortable working in a team based in multiple locations
- Computer literate
- Position may appeal to candidate with Operational background looking to move into Product Development area.
