AVP, Strategic Project Management and Analysis

Job Description:
The Assistant Vice President  of Strategic Project Management and Analysis at EDFUND will be responsible for developing and leading a strategically oriented project management office with the objective of prioritizing and optimizing the resulting value from the portfolio of active projects within the resource capability of the organization. The incumbent will provide support and consulting to ensure that projects are carried out consistently and successfully in accordance with corporate strategies.  Other key responsibilities of this role include:
 
*Ability to demonstrate that projects in the portfolio are conducted within the capacity of the organization.
*Obtain peer and senior management buy-in for prioritizing and completing projects.
*Establish project management policies, procedures, guidelines, metrics, methodologies, and templates.
*Develop successful liaison roles with internal and/or external customers. 
*Maintain a strong customer focus
*Provide guidance, mentoring, training and support to Project Management staff and the organization as required.
*Develop and manage to departmental budget.
 

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have 7-10 years progressively responsible experience in a project management office environment.  This should include experience in strategic planning, departmental management, group motivation, diplomacy, development and implementation of portfolio management and project methodology processes and standards including knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies across web and mainframe environments.
 
A Bachelors Degree is required and professional certification is preferred.
