Accountant II

Responsibilities: · This position provides accounting support for multiple business units and functional areas.  This position will perform all month-end entries, reconciliations, and accounting analysis for the business units/functional areas that it supports and will ultimately ensure that the financial transactions of these groups are recorded in the financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other applicable standards.

? Ad hoc reporting and analysis will be assigned as necessary

? Additional quarter end and year end support - This includes providing extensive support to Auditors during a week at the end of quarters 1-3 and during a two-week audit at year-end.  As well, 2 weeks of support will be provided during interim testing in October.  This support includes providing detailed schedules for significant transactions and various detailed testing of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
