Accounts Payable Clerk

CopperCom, a Heico company, with "The strength to build the future and the know-how to do it right", has been shipping switches since 1982 targeting Class 5 and Class 4 service providers. We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work in our Accounting department.

The job responsibilities for this position include:

? Processing expense reports and related checks.

? Processing vendor invoices/payments

? Coordinating received items against purchase orders

? Researching vendor statements, phone calls, and discrepancies

? Filing paid/unpaid invoices, statements, and cancelled checks.

The ideal candidate will have work experience in a corporate setting where a high level of professionalism and strong work ethics were exercised. Prior accounts payable experience, including: reconciling the A/P subledger to G/L; preparing JE's for corrections; calculating month-end A/P accruals; year-end audit requirements relating to A/P; year-end 1099 preparation; MS Office and accounting systems knowledge (such as Macola or SAP), is preferred.

This position requires strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidential data. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to this position.
