Accounts Receivable - Bilingual English/Spanish

Sigue Corp. is a leading provider of money transfer services for consumers sending money from the U.S. to Latin American countries, including Mexico. The company is located in the City of San Fernando, California.



POSITION CHARACTERISTICS:

This position will process all cash receipts from customers derived from sales.
Apply payments to customer accounts, process credit and debit memos, billing, solve discrepancies, correct customers accounts for errors in billing and misapplied credits, identifying unapplied cash and conferring with Collections department to trace payments under investigation and provide accurate information form customers accounts. This process will help collections department to perform a better and effective way of collecting funds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assign deposit slips received form customers.
Cash receipts applications.
Reclassifications (unapplied cash identification, corrections etc.)
Debit and credit memos (NSF checks processing fees, modification fees, ACH returns, commissions credits and miscellaneous.
Filing.
Sales Reconciliation.
Identify NSF's.
Solve discrepancies.
Account analysis.
Bank statements download.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish/English.
Have basic knowledge of accounting.
Ability to positively interact with customers.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Ability to work on multiple tasks accurately.
Exhibit adaptability in a team oriented environment.
