Accounts payable/ receivable Clerk!

We have a great position in Accounts Payable! .

 

Duties:

- Process, enter, verify, and track all Import and Merchant payables

purchases/invoices

- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve receipt quantity and pricing

issues with Merchants

- Advise vendors of payment status and invoice issues

- Review the auto match edit list daily for assigned vendors

- Coordinate letters of credit and purchase orders with the appropriate

Import Merchant

- Work with the Treasury dept. to apply for letters of credit (L/C)

- Confirm L/C payment and purchase order receipt and process in Accounts

Payable

- Audit assigned portion of the check run and match invoices to payments,

assuring correct remit to addresses and invoice information

- Prepare check copies and invoices to send to Image Silo

- Complete paperwork and maintain a file for the shipments of documents to

Image Silo

This position is a step higher than a standard high volume A/P clerk or

coordinator. We would require 2-4 years of A/P experience at a larger

company or a high volume A/P department. Very strong Excel skills are

required. Retail experience and experience with letters of credit for
