Acct Mgr., Cust & Fnd Acct

This is the first line manager within Custody and/or Fund Accounting. Individuals typically manage a staff of 4 to 8 employees and are very involved in daily work activity.

Job Responsibilities:

? Supervise daily operations and processes. Motivate staff and answer or refer time sensitive questions.

? May perform work activities similar to the team of employees that are being supervised.

? Identify and resolve work processing issues. Make suggestions to streamline operations.

? Some management positions are responsible for quality control and validity of daily pricing.

? Defines and manages successful completion of ad hoc client requests.

? Coordinate ongoing audits. Supply requested information.

? Build and maintain strong client relationships.

? Train and develop new staff. Complete performance appraisals and provide input on promotions and salary increases.

? Assist management in the implementation of new policies and procedures.

? May be responsible for overdraft monitoring, reporting and resolution.

? May perform other duties as requested.

? Responsible for risk management by ensuring staff understands all Standard Operating Procedures, Key Controls, and Client Specific Procedures.

Job Requirements:

? Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.

? 2 - 4 years related custody, fund accounting or expense budgeting experience.

Knowledge of financial securities markets, language and products
