Administrative Assistant

Eads & Heald Investment Counsel is a nineteen year old investment advisory firm registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. We manage approximately $350 million in high quality stock and bond portfolios for high net worth individuals and corporate/personal retirement accounts. We have had excellent performance results and have a long-standing, excellent reputation in the investment community.

 

We seek one full-time, career-oriented individual who would be interested in our available Administrative Assistant position. Duties include: monthly balancing of client investment accounts, trading securities, critical record-keeping of client information, word processing, working with Excel spreadsheets, phone reception, filing, copying, assembling and mailing marketing materials, etc. Other more advanced responsibilities may be available to the candidate depending on desire, ability and need. Generally, an employee who exhibits accuracy, earns our trust, and masters his/her tasks will find himself/herself earning greater responsibility over time. Candidates must have a very strong work ethic, be comfortable with numbers and computers, be very attentive to details, and have a good phone presence. We will provide training, but candidates must have basic experience with common computing applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.Prior experience with AXYS software is a big plus, but not required.

 

Current employees receive group medical/life and disability fully paid by the firm. Fifteen universal vacation/sick days are available to employees after a six month probation period. Working hours are 8:30 AM?5:30 PM Monday ? Friday. The firm is currently paying 20% of salary into a SEP IRA after three years of employment.
