Administrative Assistant/Financial Services

Nexcore Capital, Inc., a dynamic financial services firm located in Sorrento Valley,?only minutes from Torrey Pines State Beach, has an opportunity for?a proactive administrative assistant who will work with?officers as well as a few investment advisor representatives. Our companies include a securities broker-dealer and an SEC-registered Investment Advisory Firm.? The ideal candidate should?possess?excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills working with all levels of?an organization as well as in dealing with clients, product providers,?and other institutional representatives.?He/she must possess work experience in either investment?advisory services or at a financial services firm.?

Duties:

Daily verbal and e-mail correspondence with product providers, our two?clearing firms, OSJs, and operations departments.

Draft or compose routine correspondence or documents.

Strong abilities in standard office tasks, such as: answering telephones, developing and maintaining charts, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings and visits, preparing reports and presentations, coordinating travel, maintaining files, and maintaining and managing calendars.

Perform administrative and related office duties of a confidential nature.

Handle expense reporting and as well as working?creatively on both?individual and team projects.

Education/Experience:

-???????? Degree in business or equivalent a plus.

-???? Minimum 2 years' work experience in financial services.

-???????? Must possess experience either at an RIA or?in investment banking.

-???????? Series 7 and 63 licenses a plus.
