Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule

Hours per Week:  25
Work Schedule:  Monday - Thursday 6:00pm - 11:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalency work experience.
College degree preferred.
Proficiency in basic computer skills required along with ability to learn specific programs as needed.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to negotiate with customers.
Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling difficult calls and requests.
Ability to work with a team. 
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for contacting delinquent customers to determine reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment that would minimize/reduce the risk of charge off or loss by our department.  Places manual and dialer calls to negotiate a payment commitment from customers who are over 30-60 days past due. Uses on-line tools- credit reports, Accurint, along with skip tracing skills to locate and contact pre-charge off customers.  Based on through review of credit report and exploring all other repayment options, is able to negotiate a settlement with the customer to prevent further loss to Bank. Continually develops knowledge of internal policies and procedures.
