Annuities Sales Desk Specialist (Internal Wholesaler)

The purpose of this position is to effectively work in partnership with the external wholesaler(s) to successfully achieve and/or exceed the sales goals of an assigned territory. Additionally, through such efforts, gain and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally in all sales-related activities/interactions.


 


Requirements:


A demonstrated understanding/knowledge of more complex industry and industry-related concepts, including product knowledge and associate such knowledge to specific needs/situations as presented by the customer or prospect.

Action oriented dynamic self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and drive.

Customer focused demonstrated awareness of the customers needs, wants and requirements.

Excellent communication and telephone service skills.

Teamwork oriented focused on individual and team sales success.

Internal sales oriented individual.

Minimum of a Bachelors degree.

2-5 years sales related experience desired.

NASD Series 6 preferred.

CT State Insurance License strongly preferred.

NASD Series 6 & 63 required within 120 days of hire.
