Must be a product expert for both the
Buying
Center and LPO network knowing all aspects of the lending programs and insurance product offerings inside and out. Must be a teacher, trainer and excellent communicator with his or her direct reports. Must be a confident public speaker, that can present lending and insurance programs with confidence to all levels of dealership personnel, including the owner. Must work hand in hand with the managers in his or her territory, as an extension of the Regional Sales Director to develop a sales approach that provides equal sales and marketing coverage. These responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, regular visits to the offices, conducting conference calls with team, relationship Management meetings, selecting targeted dealers. The ASM must become familiar with the entire
Buying
Center and LPO Branch staff to share a common understanding or our business strategy. Must be a motivator and a team builder. The ASM position is one that requires business travel. A territory more than likely cover multiple states and ability of the ASM to travel, to train and coach direct reports is mandatory. Travel could be as much as 2 weeks in a business month or more.
Working knowledge of the credit and finance industry is required as well as general business and sales knowledge. Two years of successful sales experience including cold calling and prospecting customers. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated as well as a team player. Effective time management skills. Physical Requirements: Majority of time spent in dealerships, making dealer sale presentations and in transit by car or plane. Education: Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
