Job Description:
Using discretion and judgment, this position will assist the Compliance Manager in the completion of day-to-day tasks and other projects involving Code of Ethics compliance initiatives.  
 
Executes the administration of the MFS Code of Ethics ("COE") policies and procedures. Keeps abreast of rules and regulations affecting personal trading by employees of an investment advisor. Provides training/education to MFS employees on the COE policies and procedures. Prepares daily, monthly and quarterly COE compliance reports as required for manager and senior management. Develops and revises compliance procedure as needed. Reports COE exceptions to Special Projects Manager. Recommends strategies for restoring compliance and ensures that compliance has been restored in an appropriate manner. Assists in the development, testing, training and implementation of automated tools and/or systems applications used to support the Code of Ethics policies. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of four years' experience with an investment adviser, broker dealer or mutual fund administrator, or related field. Knowledge of investment management operations, fund accounting procedures and/or a general understanding of the Internal Revenue Code, Investment Company Act or Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and ERISA. Previous exposure to regulatory examinations such as the SEC or NASD a plus. Proven ability to successfully work on a number of projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential. System applications experience a plus.
