Assistant to Financial Advisor

Job Purpose:

Supports investment services by collecting, compiling, researching, inputting, copying, and distributing investment information.



Duties:

* Provides investment services information by preparing, copying, and distributing daily reports; inputting data; reconciling accounts.



* Researches investment information by collecting industry and company data; calculating performance.



* Provides client services by monitoring client portfolio performance; setting-up accounts; processing buy/sell authorizations, deposits, and withdrawals; gathering information for clients' other advisors, such as, attorneys and accountants; preparing documents; completing settlements; coordinating requirements with operations and back-office support.



* Resolves client issues by providing information and explanations; responding to inquiries and requests.



* Protects client and company interests by verifying processing compliance with internal and external guidelines; reviewing account security information; complying with federal, state, and foreign regulations; keeping information confidential.



* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.


* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
