Associate, Asset Management

Lenox Advisors is a full-service, multi-faceted financial services firm.  Our clients hire us for our commitment to help them achieve long-term financial success.  We have an immediate opportunity in our New York office for an Associate in our Asset Management department.  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

?  Assisting the sales team in the on-boarding of new clients, which includes:

- Processing of new account paperwork for managed accounts, hedge funds, brokerage accounts, annuities, etc;

- Communicating with vendors to ensure proper account setup

- Always anticipating client needs and questions

 

?  Client service, which includes:

- Deposits/withdrawals

- Wire transfers

- Account transfers

- Registration changes

- portfolio rebalancing and manager changes 

- Always anticipating client needs and questions

 

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, proactive, detail oriented, computer savvy individual with 1-2 years prior financial services experience with product knowledge, processing new accounts, and providing a high level of client service.  Candidates must have a college degree, excellent administrative and organizational skills, proficiency with MS Word & Excel, and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with high net worth clients. Series 7 and 66 preferred.
