Associate Business Manager – Latin America

Candidate will work with the Regional Business Manager to coordinate events for the department. The department handles all NON-US Clients so the candidate must have global awareness.

 

BA or BS degree, preferably in business or marketing

Series 6, 7 or 63 helpful (not required)

A minimum of 3 ? 5 years experience in marketing, within a financial services organization.

 

Proven experience in coordinating multiple projects among multiple groups Know how and when to prioritize, delegate and manage-up effectively and appropriately Strong attention to detail, consistently delivering high quality work Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Proficiency using all MS office applications, particularly PowerPoint, and Adobe.

 

Additional experience using graphic design software package(s) required.

 

Proven ability to manage creative development process, including strong copywriting skills and design sensibilities Superior project management skills and ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work in a team environment and take independent initiative Highly creative and energetic.

 

Bilingual - Spanish or Portuguese

International experience - Overseas travel.


Duties ~ ? functioning as the day-to-day liaison between the Americas regional sales force to coordinate all aspects of IPI events including schedule, handouts and event logistics ? assisting in the coordination of designing and creating invitations, welcome kits, evaluation forms for all events, liaising with Visual Communications and International Marketing Communications groups ? assisting IPI Business Manager with coordination and delivery of IPI Symposia, Forums and Seminars ? assisting with customized reporting and tracking of various projects and business initiatives ? collecting presentations from portfolio managers and product managers ? ensuring presentations are legally approved and contain appropriate disclosures ? overseeing the printing of presentation books ? Coordinate follow-up mailings for each program ? Responsible for keeping IPI materials current and in line with firm-wide materials as produced by Visual Communications.
