The Implementation Associate, working under the Corporate Program Management Group, will have an integral role in the operational implementation of First Marblehead initiatives that impact our lender and loan marketer clients. Reporting into the Director of Business Implementation the lA will be responsible for acting as the voice of the client on all pertinent First Marblehead projects and initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific job functions include working with Business Development and Legal to receive and coordinate pre-implementation new business deliverables and work with Operations/IT to define client requirements. This individual will assist the Director of Business Implementation to ensure all assigned deliverables and timetables are met during implementations and help communicate project updates back to the company. In addition to new business implementations, this individual will have an integral role in organizing and coordinating all deliverables for existing client Program Year changes. On top of active project work, this individual will work with Business Development staff to prioritize and organize the new business implementation pipeline and may work on corporate projects with the Director of Business Implementation that effect client implementations.

The candidate must have an undergraduate degree with 2-5 years progressive experience in a fast-paced business environment. Interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills: Able to effectively and efficiently gather, understand, and clearly articulate both customer and internal requirements and expectations to desired outcomes. Organization: Able to efficiently manage time based on continual evaluation of priorities; able to organize time and tasks to meet deadlines with high quality deliverables that reflect complete understanding of expectations; able to multi-task with laser-like focus. Attention to detail: Able to successfully complete tasks that require deep attention to a high volume of detailed information; able to build quality process into one's own work product, such as knowing when to obtain a review of one's work prior to final delivery; Able to review work products with focus on attention to detail to identify errors, omissions, and inaccuracies. Character: Strong desire for accountability and responsibility; commitment and willingness to challenge self and to learn and develop; takes initiative to propose ideas and solutions to problems; passionate about one's work products and takes pride in one's work; understands the importance of teamwork.
