Associate-Investment Consulting

Wilshire?s Consulting Division, seeks Associate for the investment consulting team located in Santa Monica, California.

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities include: Working closely with all members of consulting teams. Review of and production of detailed client investment analysis reports.Portfolio analytics computation, portfolio risk analysis, portfolio performance attribution. Writing reports and creating presentation materials on client portfolio performance.Analyzing and creating reports on investment manager performance, evaluation and selection.Analysis on Asset Allocation projects.Analysis on portfolio investment structure.

 

Required Experience and Skills:Ideal candidates will have solid work habits, including excellent problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines. Excellent quantitative and computing skills. Strong writing and communication skills, ability to work effectively with clients in writing and on phone.Strong desire to work in the investment industry. Ability to work both independently and in team environment.

 

Educational and Work Experience Requirements:

 

Bachelors or Masters degree in business or other related field (finance, math, economics, or equivalent). 

4+ years experience in finance or financial services position.  Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or participation towards the CFA designation is expected.
