Associate Planning Adviser

Immediate Need!!! ? Associate Planning AdviserThis is a salaried position that includes bonus opportunities & full benefits!The Associate planning adviser plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the office. With overall responsibility of Wealth plan development and periodic client review preparation this person must be able to work effectively with other staff members, clients, and the Wealth Advisor(s).
Responsibilities and Activities: Advertising approval Preparation of client account reviews Handles new business for less complicated accounts Meets with clients to take notes during fact finding meetings with advisors and start new client forms processing Follows up with clients as needed to make sure all paperwork is received and new accounts and insurance processed Coordinates daily Team Meeting Sets agenda and Disseminates minutes, resulting tasks, and timelines for completion. Coordinate and prepare insurance illustrations proposals Monitor insurance underwriting process Complete wealth adviser training program in preparation of wealth adviser career start specialization and advanced degree IE CFP, PFP, CPhD

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Requires: Excellent knowledge of the securities and insurance industry?s rules and regulations NASD Series 7, 63, and life and health licensed Excellent analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation Ability to handle multiple tasks and operate in tight deadlines.

Note: Previous financial planning software experience and CFP, PFP, CLU, CHFC will be an added advantage Existing Book not required.... just bring a great attitude and work ethic!
