The proposed merger with Golden West Financial Corporation (NYSE: GDW), parent of World Savings Bank, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2006, pending shareholder and regulatory approval. With this proposed merger, Wachovia would strengthen its position in California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey and New York, and enter attractive metropolitan areas in five additional states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas and Nevada. The combined company would serve banking customers through 3,400 offices in 21 states and Washington, D.C. In addition, Wachovia would gain mortgage lending operations under the World Savings Bank name in 39 states.

Requirements:

In this position, you will oversee/manage the inventory at assigned auctions to include selling units at the highest amount of value obtainable, manage turnover inventory to predetermined objectives, recondition units as required, validate insurance claims and coordinate sales efforts with auctions. You will also process all paperwork associated with each case, including but not limited to filing Claims and Reaffirmation Agreements and processing Repossession/File Maintenance requests. You will resolve basic case matters such as vehicle valuation, voluntary surrender of collateral and Redemption offers within department guidelines. Other responsibilities include reviewing new accounts into Bankruptcy status for appropriate action, contacting debtors or counsel for additional case information and resolving basic matters such as Plan valuation, Redemption offers and negotiated Reaffirmation agreements. You will also play a key role in determining market value for a given vehicle, analyzing vehicle condition reports prior to sale and managing reconditioning in compliance with policy and procedure.

Must have three plus years? experience in vehicle remarketing in a wholesale environment. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience is necessary.
