BOOKKEEPER / PART TIME BOOKKEEPER

BOOKKEEPER

Growing professional service company with approximately 20 employees seeks hands-on self-starter to perform all aspects of the accounting/bookkeeping department. This opportunity is on a part-time basis. We estimate a work schedule of 2 - 3 days/week.

You will be required to Monitor and report the overall financial performance of our Company on a regular basis. In large part, this is achieved via the accurate preparation and issuance of the internally generated monthly financials, which are prepared on an accrual basis.


Duties Include: Review & Issue Monthly Financials (P&L, Balance Sheet) on an accrual basis Perform various balance sheet reconciliations (cash, A/R, etc.) to ensure accuracy in financials Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries Manage/perform collections 401K administration Maintain tax reporting (unemployment, payroll, etc.) Work with Accountants to complete annual compilation Process partner compensation (salary, distributions) Prepare Monthly sales commissions Prepare internal payroll

 

Requirements: Must have 5+ years (accrual and tax basis) bookkeeping experience Strong office technology skills, particularly Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills College degree CPA a plus, but not necessary.
