We are currently seeking a talented individual to fulfill the position of Branch Manager in our Consumer Division. The Branch Manager has overall responsibility for the profitable growth of an Equity One branch office.  His or her role is to plan, organize, and control the branch office?s activities in order to meet or exceed the branch?s performance budgets.  The Branch Manager provides leadership and training to the branch staff.

 

Responsibilities:

? Establishes and promotes a productive working environment through training and developing the branch staff and developing strategies that will achieve company performance budgets.

? Coordinates business building activities that are designed to obtain new customers, renew existing customers, increase purchase of sales finance contracts, and obtain new sales finance dealers.

? Monitors and controls branch work activities and staff?s implementation of assigned duties.

? Uses branch reports to analyze activity and plan appropriate action.

? Approves loan and sales finance credit within credit authority, evaluates credit applications, and closes loans.

? Supervises account adjustment activities in the branch and obtains approvals for non-standard collection activities such as repossession, foreclosure, and legal action.

? Attract, hire, train and retain a qualified and capable staff.

? Represents self and the company in community and civic activities.

? Interacts with the District Manager/Region Manager.

? Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by District/Region Manager.

 

  Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience5+ years experience Consumer Finance

? 1-2 years experience at the supervisory level

? Strong written and verbal communication skills

? Mathematical/analytical skills

? Negotiation/sales skills

? Ability to plan, organize and control office activities.

? Valid driver?s license and insurance licenses (if required).

? Interpersonal and management skills.

? Motivation skills.

? Underwriting ability.

? Ability to determine logical solutions to customers? financial problems.

? Ability to resolve personnel problems.

? Ability to analyze substandard performance and develop plans that will correct the situation.

? Ability to analyze broad company policies and apply them to specific business situations.

? Ability to evaluate potential new hires.

? Obtain or retain state loan origination licensure if applicable.
