Description:

- Build and retain the business of an assigned group of our most profitable customers through the use

  of exceptional relationship management skills and techniques.

- Develop an understanding of each customer?s financial situation; proactively offer ideas and

  solutions to help customers recognize possibilities and strategies that would help build and

  strengthen their financial position; deliver a range of deposit, loan, investment and trust products

  and services.

- Manage business clients with less than $500 thousand in sales (Micro Small Business) and refer all

  business clients over $500 thousand in sales to specialist.

- Maintain a high level of knowledge surrounding Micro Small Business suite of products to enable

  growth of client base.

- Ensure premier customer service is provided at all times, including prompt and courteous resolution

  of all customer issues.

- Develop, implement and manage effective call program that promotes sustaining and growing

  profitability of assigned households.

- Monitor overall branch sales effort ensuring targets and sales results are achieved.

- Conducts informal coaching sessions/sales huddles that motivate sales team, build and enhance

  relationship management skills, create an environment to share sales principles and techniques and

  utilize the 15 minutes of predictability tool.

- Conduct quarterly PPR sessions through formal regularly scheduled and documented coaching

  sessions.

- Manage Assistant Branch Manager, Personal Bankers and Teller Supervisor to ensure the

  reduction of exposure to loss in new account opening procedures, regulatory compliance, and Bank

  Secrecy Act.

- Make exceptions/override approvals while minimizing Bank exposure.

- Manage branch profitability through generation of revenue and effective control of non-interest

  expense.

- Ensure quality and integrity of sales operations through audit, review and monitoring.

- Proactively review staffing model; ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.

- Hire qualified candidates for direct report positions. 

- Ensure proper, confidential safekeeping of Bank, customer and employee records.

- Represent Bank in contacts with customers, businesses and trade associations.

- Participate and provide leadership in activities in the community to promote the Bank image.

- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Branch.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

 

Knowledge & Skills:

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

-Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and operations

-Understanding of commercial deposits

-Familiarity with compliance practices for banking environments

-5-7 years of banking experience preferred - preferably in a branch setting as well

-Previous teller management experience, personal banker management experience, or customer

 service management experience required

-Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to manage and resolve conflicts professionally

-Must be able to work additional hours as needed.
