We are an Independent Broker Dealer that has been in business for 25 years. We are seeking a Broker Dealer Investment Operations Specialist to work closely with the Operations Manager in our Boston office.

Duties:
Assist manager on trade desk with the following:

- Receive and place stock, bond and mutual fund trades through Pershing clearing firm
- Open new accounts through NetEx Pro (Pershing)
- Assist in processing all Broker Dealer New Business
- Answer questions from registered reps, research issues

- Copy all paperwork and mail out to carriers/fund companies

- Follow up on status with carriers/fund companies and registered reps

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills a must
- Applicant must be proactive and have great verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with a broker dealer trade desk
- Pershing experience preferred

- Series 7 a must
- Bachelor?s degree a must
