Business Analyst- Management Support
The Management Support function provides customized management support to the Head of Business unit in US and senior management, including business analysis, presentation and communication.
The incumbent will be involved in strategic projects and generally support the Head of US Business unit, with a focus on providing information and analysis to support decision making. Responsibilities include the elaboration of concepts and the creation of presentations for the Head of the US Business unit and the Executive Committee. The individual will collect and analyze information and data in the preparation of succinct and action-oriented reports, briefings and presentations to assist the business unit Management Support office in informing on business strategy, initiatives and issues. In addition, he/she will assist with the planning of business meetings, including but not limited to; communication, coordination of presenters, agenda and content for presentations.
Major responsibilities include:
Collects, collates and analyzes information/data to assist management with the development and execution of presentation content
Synthesize and present information succinctly with emphasis on what the key topics are (as it relates to briefings, talking points, speaker notes)
Interface and coordinate with representatives from various Business Areas in the preparation of projects and presentations
Liase and partner with Corporate Communications in the development of content relating to Investor Relations and Public Relations
Complete ad-hoc analysis for the Head of US business unit and the Chief Operating Officer
Monitor, track and follow up on all communication delivered by Head of Business unit
Monitor upcoming calendar items; coordinate the receipt of required supporting materials, as well as action items following specific meetings
Liase with HR to ensure management of Head of business unit US and Management Support are current with all Core Process requirements
Assist with creating and managing business unit strategic communication plan, ensuring that is aligned with business units.
Required Skills/Background:
A minimum of 3-5 years business experience, preferably in the financial services/banking or consulting industry
Strong analytical and report writing skills
Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, with ability to translate and visually depict business concepts and ideas
Project planning experience
Strong oral and written communication skills; in particular, ability to communicate succinctly
Experience in communicating with senior management
Takes initiative, demonstrates solution-oriented thinking and independent problem solving skills
Goal-oriented working style with an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced global environment
Contributes to a positive team atmosphere
