The Capital Markets Officer is responsible for marketing interest rate derivative products, including interest rates swaps, caps, floors and collars to commercial borrowing clients and prospects of Old National to produce fee income.  Additionally, this person will assist with training of commercial relationship managers in derivative products, develop sales pipelines, and interact with officers regarding Funds Transfer Pricing and structuring of loans.  The person will also actively cross-sell other capital markets and bank products, including money market investments, foreign exchange, bond financing, and other traditional bank products.

 

Skills & Requirements:

?  Bachelor?s Degree in business discipline

?  3-5 years of Capital Market experience

?  1-2 years of Microsoft suite experience

?  Extensive knowledge and experience with financial derivatives and foreign exchange

?  Familiarity with interest rate derivatives and FAS 133 (Accounting for Derivatives)

?  CFA Charterholder or CFA Candidate preferred

?  Some experience with commercial lending to middle market clients would be preferred
