Business Manager - Analyst, Venture Capital

Description of Position:

NHV seeks to hire a highly qualified candidate to become an Analyst or Associate in NHV?s Boston office. The successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in prospecting for new investment opportunities.

The successful candidate will also conduct preliminary due diligence on prospective investments and research markets and companies of interest. He/she will also be asked to leverage North Hill?s relationship with Capital One for the purposes of deriving and delivering strategic insights to/from corporate executives. The successful candidatewill work closely with members of NHV?s partnership group.

The position is envisioned to be a 2-year role, with a subsequent step likely to be an MBA.

Required Skills:
? 2+ years of experience from strategy consulting, technology company operating experience, and/or equity research experience.
? Ambitious, hardworking and able to succeed in a results-driven environment.
? Top communications skills, maturity, and creativity.
? Candidates should be pro-active by nature and feel comfortable with outbound, networking-oriented activities.
? Solid understanding of and interest in technology. Financial services experience is a plus
? Analytical thinking and quantitative. Strong modeling and valuation skills.
? MBA not required.
