Senior Business Systems Analyst

 

Business Systems Analyst (BSA).  This position will be responsible for understanding, defining, analyzing and documenting business requirements for various projects.  The BSA will be responsible for working with development teams to define and document the functional design.  The BSA will also support project scoping and test planning.  The BSA will document above deliverables per the Clients System Development Methodology.  The BSA will also assist as needed to execute and track test cases. The BSA will have data and process modeling experience and be able to document data requirements into business dimensional and logical models. The BSA will document will be able to work independently and in collaboration with Architects, Programmers, DBAs, and other project resources to resolve key project issues and challenges.  The BSA will ensure traceability and quality from requirements through implementation.

 

 

Main Skill Requirements (Skill/Level of Experience):  Mandatory skills first then list complimentary skills second. 

 

? 4+ years as an IT professional.

? 3+ years experience documenting analysis and design deliverables on medium to large projects. 

? 2+ years in customer/user facing roles

? 2+ Financial Services industry experience

? 2+ Installment Loan business process experience

? Excellent ability to gather business requirements

? Excellent verbal communication and writing skills are required.

? Solid understanding of business disciplines, modern computer systems and the software development life cycle.

? Solid MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint skills. 

? Experience working with relational databases and have solid SQL skills. 

? Solid experience documenting and working through systems issues as part of a team. 

? Solid experience with systems test planning, execution and defect tracking. 

? Flexible self-starter and team player.

? Some programming and design experience required. 

 

 

Desired Skill Requirements (Skill/Level of Experience): 

? 1+ years Shaw Systems Lending Platform

? Sarbanes-Oxley, FCRA, or other legal compliance project experience
