Business Systems Analyst, Senior

Responsible for guiding, aligning, and accurately communicating internal customer groups' business needs and process with enterprise-level IT solutions.

Work with the development teams to ensure that they understand the specifications.

Responsible for supporting successful implementation of technical solutions by providing business process analysis, design, strategic vision, best practice research, detailed requirements definition alignment, vendor evaluations, systems assessments and user acceptance facilitation.

Expected to have current knowledge of enterprise IT strategic direction and be able to influence IT system decisions that are cost-effective, supportable, and scalable.

Responsible for supporting the development of the BSA team by mentoring, monitoring deliverables for quality and implementing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process improvements.

Support both business strategies and operational needs by developing effective technical solutions.

Responsible for coordinating UAT and performs sanity check on systems functionality before engaging business end-users in UAT.

* A college degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience
* 8 years of experience as an IT business systems analyst and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Experience and full understanding of SDLC methodology, Agile methodology, requirements management tools, process modeling, user acceptance testing, and large-scale system implementations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation and excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills are required.
* The candidate must have proven skills in relationship building, customer-focus, decision-making, and problem solving.
* Experience with conducting vendor system evaluations for making build versus buy decisions and experience formulating a long-term vision or roadmap for integrated systems and solutions.
* Requires experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts
* Requires basic understanding of the company's business practices, and familiarity with the company's products and services
*SQL experience preferred
