CDF Account Specialist, TEC/CSHPI

Job Purpose
As an Account Specialist for Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), you will be assisting the Account Manager or Account Executive in monitoring an assigned portfolio to minimize loss exposure for the business. This vital activity ensures that customers are collateralized and in full compliance with their approved program so that CDF can respond as necessary to any potential issues.

Essential Functions

Prepare and recommend wholesale over-line approval requests and submit to the Account Manager or Account Executive

Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, questions, documentation issues, billing errors, payment application errors, disputes, program changes, new sales requests, and opportunities

Assist the Account Manager or Account Executive to ensure all operating and action conditions placed on approved credit files are completed within the established timeframes

Compile all information necessary to comply with reporting requests in a timely and efficient manner

Assist the Account Manager or Account Executive to follow-up on legal documentation and collections

Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (or a High School diploma or equivalent degree (GED) and 2 years of experience in credit assessment)

Working knowledge of accounts receivable collection practices and processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
