CLAIMS ANALYST

AIG United Guaranty has an opportunity for a Claims Analyst in our Domestic Consumer Group division, headquartered in Greensboro, N C. 

The primary responsibility of this position is to evaluate claims to ensure compliance with  policy guidelines and to resolve issues fairly and promptly for both the company and the customer. Duties include: review documentation submitted from lender, acknowledge claim receipt to lender, research records, investigate discrepancies, communicate with lenders and borrowers as needed, review customer specific underwriting guidelines to determine claim qualifications and compliance with insurability guidelines, analyze loan information  to ensure accuracy of representations, accurately calculate claims, prepare claim denial summaries and recommend action to be taken for unqualified claims, and consult with lenders to suggest resolutions to claim denial issues.

Selected candidate must have 2-5 years experience in the financial services industry, preferably with knowledge of the insurance industry. Strong investigative skills, analytical ability, effective verbal/written communication skills, customer service focus, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and internet research also required.
