Client Reporting Associate ? Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Equity/Fixed Income, NYC

To $70K Base (d.o.e.) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits


Head of Client Reporting is seeking a capable Client Reporting Associate to join the Investment Management team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

? Adhere to client-specific and investment-specific reporting cycles (covering private equity/traditional assets and hedge funds);
? Ensure that reports are punctual, complete and accurate;
? Respond to ad hoc client queries in a timely and efficient manner, with an eye towards quality control;
? Coordinate interaction and liaison with diverse range of departments: all investment areas, operations, IT, client services, portfolio management and performance measurement;
? Willingly contribute/add value, i.e. assist designing new reports as additional investment products are introduced.


Professional Skills and Experience Required ? a MUST:

? Min. 5 years? in either Private Equity, &/or Hedge Funds, &/or Equity, &/or Fixed Income, &/or Portfolio Management &/or operations administration in a client services/reporting and performance measurement role;
? Experience with Private Equity preferred;
? Sound knowledge of investment management process and industry;
? Good understanding of performance measurements and operations;
? Genuine desire and proven ability to learn investment products and company?s investment philosophy as required;
? Proven ability to stay abreast of industry, i.e. take ownership and maintain ownership focus;
? Excellent communications skills (both written and oral) is key;
? Proven / demonstrated ability for excellent attention to details, follow through and meeting deadlines within agreed timeframes;
? Proven ability to work very effectively with diverse inter-company departments/divisions, etc.;
? Proven ability to confidently and comfortably manage & field client requests
? Excellent organizational skills + proven ability to effectively prioritize;
? Assertive/proactive demeanor and strong work ethic approach is a must;
? Strong and proven client relationship skills ? internally and externally;
? Proven and strong interpersonal skills;
? Proven ?real? team player skills;
? Proven ability to work as effectively in either a team &/or independently;
? Genuine desire for professional and personal growth;
? Excellent, proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills;
? Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
