Hours per Week: 40+
Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or Accounting, and successful completion of a commercial credit training program.
2 years experience in a credit analysis or portfolio management role at a significant financial institution.
Results-oriented and creative with superior analytical and problem solving capabilities.
Track record of teamwork as well as exceptional written and oral communications skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Prepare credit applications and annual reviews, including financial analysis and risk assessment. Review annual and quarterly financial statements from customers and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of transactions, including repayments and covenant compliance.  Monitor credit developments, including rating agency reports, company press releases and other news items to assess whether customer credit risk remains acceptable. Support the new business team in closing new transactions, including credit research, due diligence, documentation and funding. Prepare ?Know Your Customer? data to meet regulatory and compliance standards for the company. Provide analytical and administrative support to the New York team, including maintaining databases.
