Check Writing Associate (1019)

We are looking for a Check Writing Associate is our Headquarter location in St. Louis, MO.

 

The Check Writing Associate is responsible for processing e-check applications, printing and booking e-checks into client's Scottrade accounts, processing checkwriting applications, ordering checks for clients and processing any rejected checks.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Process eCheck applications
Book eChecks into client accounts
Process and activate Checkwriting applications
Process any rejected checks
Process any rejected eCheck applications
Process check reorders
Process any stop payment requests
Charge any necessary fees
Other projects/duties as assigned

 

Required Skills:

1 to 2 years brokerage/banking or related experience preferred
1 to 3 years of customer service experience preferred
General understanding of margin accounts preferred
High degree of analytical skills
Great attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills
Effective time management skills
Excellent data entry skills: 10-key required
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Good research/problem solving ability
Proficient with Microsoft Office ? Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet Explorer
Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers & all Scottrade associates, and have a positive attitude

 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required
