Description
The individual in this position will be responsible for all client administration services and related sales support for a defined group of intermediary clients invested in the firm?s institutional mutual funds. Intermediary clients include insurance companies, defined contribution plans and their record keepers, banks, broker/dealers, and registered investment advisers. This position will be located within Intermediary Client Service Operations in the West Conshohocken, PA office.
RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide comprehensive client services administration for intermediary clients with initial emphasis on relationships with insurance companies, banks and broker-dealers.

* Support the firm?s intermediary sales teams and portfolio specialists for client service related matters.

* Facilitate the opening of new accounts and the handling of account transitions and large transactions.

* Coordinate client contracts and tracking of contract information.

* Coordinate client-related fee payments and invoicing.

* Complete client reporting requirements and respond to ad hoc client and consultant requests in an accurate and timely manner.

* Resolve any trading issues by reviewing related documentation and working with clients and the transfer agent.

* Demonstrate proficiency in using systems applications including the fund transfer agency system, the firm?s client information systems, and the firm?s portfolio information systems.

* Support the institutional mutual funds by maintaining account integrity, ensuring compliance for all client-related services, and performing analysis related to the management of the funds.

*Perform related duties as assigned.


Skills Required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related business field.
* A minimum of three years experience in a client service capacity.
* Desire to develop and maintain client relationships.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to summarize findings effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
* Extensive knowledge of the mutual fund industry and/or institutional or intermediary client service needs.
* Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications.
* Detail-oriented and highly motivated.
* Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
* NASD Series 6 and 63 licensing within three months of assuming the position.
