Client Service Manager

The purpose of the financial planning firm is to assist clients in the attainment of their financial goals. This is accomplished through a trusting, personal relationship with each client. This, the client service manager?s role in this mission is to exceed client expectations in the terms of attention, service and the implementation of financial recommendations.Typical days? activities:*First line in handling all inquiries regarding client?s accounts and all service issues relating to those accounts.*Taking application for investments insurance products*Utilizing tracking systems to assure proper implementation of the products*Preparing files for client?s annual reviews*Tracking receipts of fees and commissions*Proper transaction of securities trades using proprietary broker/dealer software*Keeping detail records of all client communications*Focus point for all compliance issues within the firm*Maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with supervisory people,the home office and vendors*Having input in to product selection*Working closely with investment advisory firms, mutual fund companies and insurance carriers*Working as an integral and powerful member of a team*Enjoying the atmosphere of a boutique financial planning firm verses a larger, cooler, corporate environment*Plan preparation*Other projects as assigned.Needed skills/attitudes:*Mandatory to have current NASD Series 6 or 7 license*Strong working knowledge of securities, regulations, and a track record of having followed them.*Strong organizational skills*Practiced time management skills*Enjoys details and follow through *Working knowledge of qualified plans*Computer literate*Meticulous honesty coupled with diplomacy*Strong desire to help, to please and to bond with clients*Love talking with, patient with clients*Ability to explain financial issues to clients clearly with confidence and assurance*Willing to wrap your ?service arms? around clients lovingly supporting them in the accomplishment of their goals
