Client Service Representative-529 Advisor Plans (2 Positions)
Overview of Position:
Accountable to the Client Service Manager of Advisor Plans for providing high quality client service to advisor-sold 529 plans via phone and mail requests. Following procedures, this position provides client service to 529 advisor plans by handling requests from financial advisors, broker/dealers, and account owners seeking information or executing requests on specific accounts, product or plan information, and policies and procedures. Responsible for researching and resolving complex issues in a timely manner to completion.
Responsibilities:
Respond to all telephone calls received within established service standards by providing prompt and accurate information. Interpret and provide technical/general information to advisors and account owners regarding account specifics, portfolio information, forms, service options, tax information, and special programs. Process both financial and non-financial transactions and answer specific questions related to program description. Process all financial and non-financial transactions received via phone or mail within established service standards and resolve all complex requests requiring additional research and analyze situations using systems software (CSR/Plexus, Phoenix) to ensure client satisfaction.Accurately process all change requests received from account owners and advisors. Ensure these financial and non-financial transactions are confirmed and quality controlled within service standards.Maintain department/team standards during high volume periods. Provide a high level of service to advisors and account owners at all times. Assist with reports, correspondence and projects as requested.
Qualifications: Prior financial service, client service, or customer service preferred. Experience with financial intermediaries. Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented, PC and keyboard proficient, flexible, self-motivated, ability to multi task and work well under pressureSeries 6 and 63 Licenses strongly preferred
