Collections Analyst

CITY: Tempe STATE: Arizona COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
-Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled Data Services reports. Design ad-hoc templates, programs and implementations for various departments. Act as content expert to other department administrative personnel on report issues and resolutions. Ensure accuracy as to report content and intent of requestor and time deliverables are met. Keep current with emerging technology and business processes to ensure an efficient, growth-enable reporting structure.
-Manage assigned projects in timely manner, ensuring accuracy and deliverables are met. Quality control of reporting performed by department to ensure that reports are meeting the requests of the operational areas (timeliness and quality).
-Interface with various levels of management in identifying operational concerns, needs, and requests. React to stringent timelines in meeting departmental as well as organizational requests. Problem solve any system errors that may occur with the reports that were created by the Data Services department.
-Develop the testing, implementation and validation, in addition to after-installation validation of reports and programs.
-Analysis of reporting to identify business and production trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Previous experience in SAS, SAS macros, SAS SQL, SQL, Visual Basic, Microsoft Office, other desktop processing tools and data warehousing concepts.
-3+ years of related work experience in analysis, programming and reporting.
-Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required, ability to communicate with all levels of management.
-Numeric aptitude, good organization, time management and detail orientation required.
-Ability to work independently.

-4-year college degree - emphasis in statistics, finance or other business related field strongly desired.
